As much as I miss Pete when he goes away it brings me great comfort to know he is coming back when I think of the ones whose spouse will never come home again. I thank God for the strength he gives me to get through the loneliness. Another thing I am thankful for is the cell phone. We talk several times a day. In the beginning of his truck driving career we didn't have a cell phone.
